For Flower Bouquets
1. Remove the Wrapping When Appropriate
If your bouquet is water-packed for delivery, remove the outer wrapping when you're ready to place it in a vase.
2. Trim the Stems
Cut approximately 1–2 cm from the bottom of the stems at an angle using clean scissors or floral shears.
This helps the flowers absorb water more easily.
3. Use a Clean Vase
Fill a clean vase with fresh water before placing your flowers inside.
4. Change the Water Regularly
Replace the water every 1–2 days and clean the vase if necessary.
5. Remove Leaves Below the Waterline
Leaves sitting in water can encourage bacteria growth.
Remove any leaves that would otherwise be submerged.
6. Keep Flowers Somewhere Cool
Avoid placing your flowers:
- Under direct sunlight
- Beside strong heat
- Directly under air-conditioning airflow
- Near ripening fruits
7. Remove Wilted Flowers
If some flowers begin to wilt earlier than others, remove them to help the remaining arrangement stay fresh and neat.
